Like many NZ businesses, Weld I.T. LTD started in 2001 in the garage at home. With lots of enthusiasm, passion, drive, and long hours; the hard work paid off. Weld IT has earned its reputation in the welding industry as a company that provides practical and technical welding solutions, with the personal service to match.

After more than 4 years, the garage, downstairs rooms, and even parts of upstairs were not enough room to support a business and family within the same facility. In 2005, Weld I.T. moved to its current location at 45 Angle St, Onehunga and grew rapidly. Welding consumables started to arrive by the container, staff numbers grew, and the product range began multiplying.

From these small beginnings through to now, there is one thing that keeps on pushing us into the future; the commitment to make a difference to customers welding process. Weld IT’s staff remain committed to improve, optimise, and perfect the welding for all its customers. It is a constant and never ending process of evolvement working with the owner, welding personnel and equipment to obtain the best outcome possible.
